Ibn Hazm (رحمه الله) said:

“There is no affliction more harmful to knowledge and its people than intruders into it — those who are not from its true people. They are ignorant yet think they know, they corrupt yet believe they are righteous.”

Choosing one's desire over the right way

Ibn Hazm Rahimahullah said:

What indicates a person’s weak religion and fear of Allah, is that he seeks for an opinion that suits his desire.
