Earth had thrown his body out

Earth had thrown his body out

Narrated Anas (RadiAllaahu Anhu):

There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-Imran, and he used to write (the revelations) for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: “Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him.” Then Allah caused him to die, and the people buried him, but in the morning they saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, “This is the act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and took his body out of it because he had run away from them.” They again dug the grave deeply for him, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, “This is an act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and threw his body outside it, for he had run away from them.” They dug the grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. So they believed that what had befallen him was not done by human beings and had to leave him thrown (on the ground).

Honouring a guest as an act of worship

Honouring a guest as an act of worship

Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen, [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him], said:

“We should not regard honouring a guest as merely a cultural practice; rather, we should see it as an act of worship. This is because the Prophet, صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said, ‘Whoever believes in Allāh and the Last Day should honour his guest.’ Thus, honouring a guest is an act of devotion that draws a person closer to their Lord and becomes a means for their spiritual purification and righteousness, by the Grace and Will of Allāh.”

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IN ONE'S EYES

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IN ONE'S EYES

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported, the Prophet (ﷺ) said,

"A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her class, for her beauty or for her piety. Select the pious, may your hand be rubbed in the dust!"

* Bukhari (5090) and Muslim (1466)

"Select the pious," meaning to look upon her as a prize you want to win. "The pious" meaning the religious one.

One should know that if they follow this advice, this religious woman will turn out to be the most beautiful in one's eyes even if she is only slightly beautiful. Beauty is not the only criterion. Sometimes the woman looks very beautiful, but Allāh makes her look ugly in her husband's view. And he hears people talk about her beauty, but, in fact, she is not beautiful because hearts are controlled by Allāh.

Hadith: "Remember death in your prayer..."

Hadith: "Remember death in your prayer..."

From Anas who said that the Messenger of Allaah [] said:

❝Remember death in your prayer. Indeed if a person remembers death in his prayer then he will be cautious to make his prayer good, and he will pray the prayer of a person who thinks that he will not be able to pray any other prayer. Be careful of every matter for which you have to make an excuse or apologise for.❞

EVEN IF HE BE IN THE DEPHTS OF HIS HOME

EVEN IF HE BE IN THE DEPHTS

OF HIS HOME

O dear Muslim! If you are in the habit of spreading your brother's faults among the people, then Allah will certainly expose your own faults and make them known among the people, as the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said in a hadith:

"Whosoever pursues the faults of his brother, Allah will pursue his faults and whosoever pursues his brothers faults Allah will expose his faults even if he be in the dephts of his home."

ACTING UPON THE KNOWLEDGE

ACTING UPON THE KNOWLEDGE

The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said,

"A servants two feet will not move on the Day of Judgement until he is questioned about four (things).

His youth - how he spent it;

his knowledge - how he acted upon it;

his wealth - how he earned it and how he spent it,

and his body - how he used/wasted it."

Satan hates the good relationship between husband and wife

Satan hates the good relationship

 between husband and wife

-By Imaam Ibnul Qayyim

Narrated Jabir [radiyallaahu-anhu] that Allaah’s Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said: Iblis places his throne upon water; he then sends detachments [for creating dissension]; the nearer to him in rank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them comes and says: I did so and so. And he says: You have done nothing. Then one amongst them comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife. The Satan goes near him and says: ‘You have done well. A’mash said: He then embraces him. [Saheeh Muslim. Number:2813]

And because of the fact that this bond [between husband and wife] is from the most beloved affairs to Allaah and His Messenger, it is from the most hated affairs to the enemy of Allaah [i.e. shaytaan]. Therefore he hastens to split two people who love another for the sake of Allaah.

DO NOT BOYCOTT YOUR BROTHER

 FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"It is not permissible for a believer to forsake his (Muslim) brother for more than three days. If three days have passed, he should meet him and greet him; and if the other responds to it they will both share the reward; but if he does not respond, he will bear his sin and the one who (has taken the initiative to) greet (the other) will be absolved of the sin of forsaking (one's brother in faith)." *

Supplication against anxiety and distress

Supplication against anxiety and distress

Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If any Muslim is afflicted with distress and makes this supplication, then his supplication will be answered: O Allah, I am your servant, the son of your servant, the son of your maidservant. My forelock is in your hand, your command concerning me prevails, and your decision concerning me is just. I call upon you by every one of the beautiful names with which you have described yourself, or which you have revealed in your Book, or you have taught to any of your creatures, or which you have chosen to keep in the knowledge of the unseen with you, to make the Quran the delight of my soul, the light of my heart, and to remove my sadness and dispel my anxiety.” The Prophet said, “If he says this, Allah will remove his affliction and replace it with joy and happiness.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, should we not learn it?” The Prophet said, “Yes, whoever hears it should know it.”

bismillahsalam
"The most hated speech to Allah is when a man says to another man, ‘Fear Allah!’ and he replies, 'Worry about your own self!’"

Reported by Al-Asbahaanee in At-Targheeb (#739), autenticated by Sheikh Albani in Silsilatul-Ahaadeethis-Saheehah (#2598)

Hadith about ignoring the compulsory prayers...

A history of racism among sahaba

A history of racism among sahaba

Once Aboo Dharr and Bilaal had a dispute, but in a moment of anger Aboo Dharr said: “O Son of a black woman!”

This came to the attention of the Prophet ﷺ who said: “O Aboo Dharr, did you slander his mother? You are a man in whom there is still some ignorance!”
Aboo Dahrr left the mosque with tears streaming from his eyes and went to Bilaal.

When he saw Bilaal he placed his cheek on the ground and said: “I will not get up until you place your foot over my face. You are the noble and I am the lowly!”

Bilaal began to cry: he approached Aboo Dharr, stood him up and kissed him on that very cheek. Then they hugged each other and cried together.

It is from the Mercy of Allaah that the Qur'aan is still with us

It is from the Mercy of Allaah
that the Qur'aan is still with us

{Should We then take this Reminder away from you and ignore you because you are a nation who has transgressed all limits?} [Surah al-Zukhruf (43):5]

Imaam Ibn Katheer رحمه الله commented on this Aayah:

{Shall We then take away the Reminder (this Qur’aan) from you, because you are a nation who has transgressed all limits?} means: “do you think that We will forgive you and not punish you, when you do not do as you have been commanded?” This was the view of Ibn `Abbaas Abu Saaleh, Mujaahid and al-Suddi, and was the view favored by Ibn Jareer.

{Shall We then take away the Reminder (this Qur’aan) from you} Qataadah said: “By Allaah, if this Qur’aan had been taken away when the first generations of this Ummah rejected it, they would have been doomed, but Allaah by His mercy persisted in sending it and calling them to it for twenty years, or for as long as He willed.”

What Qataadah said is very good, and his point is that Allaah, by His grace and mercy towards His creation, did not stop calling them to the truth and to the wise Reminder, i.e., the Qur’aan, even though they were heedless and turned away from it. Indeed, He sent it so that those who were decreed to be guided might be guided by it, and so that proof might be established against those who were decreed to be wretched.

--end of quote

Shaikh `Abdul Rahmaan bin Nasr al-Sa`dee رحمه الله said:

{Shall We then take away the Reminder (this Qur’aan) from you} meaning: “Should We turn away from you, and stop the revelation of the Dhikr (The Qur’aan) from you, and pay no attention to you because of your rejection and refusal to implement it? Rather, We will reveal it for you and make plain for you everything in it (so that you may understand it). So if you believe in it and are guided, then it is for your own success. But if you don’t, then the proof will be established against you, for you have been made aware of your affairs.

--end of quote

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Allaah said: {The son of Aadam denied Me and he had no right to do so. And he reviled Me and he had no right to do so. As for his denying Me, it is his saying: He (Allaah) will not remake me as He made me at first - and the initial creation [of him] is no easier for Me than remaking him. As for his reviling Me, it is his saying: Allaah has taken to Himself a son, while I am the One, the Everlasting Refuge. I begot not nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.}” [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (4975)]
