Choosing one's desire over the right way
Ibn Hazm Rahimahullah said:
What indicates a person’s weak religion and fear of Allah, is that he seeks for an opinion that suits his desire.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah Rahimahullah

CHARACTERISTICS OF HONESTY
– SHAYKH RASLAAN-
Shaikh Raslan (may Allaah preserve him) stated about his father (rahimahullaah): ‘’You taught me that a rebuke of truth is more honorable for me than a praise of falsehood; and that the reproach of a truthful person is better for me than the praise of a liar.” [Source: Dawaabit Ar-Riwaayah Indal Muhadditheen: page: 7 vol: 1]

Protection From Hypocrisy
Al-Imaam ibnul Qayyim rahimahullaah: “Remembering Allaah azza wa jall a lot is a protection from hypocrisy, for indeed the hypocrites remember Allaah azza wa jall only a little.” — [al-Waabil as-Sayyib, 195]

How Much Shaytan Tries to
Cause Marital Strife
Abū ʾUmāmah – Allāh be pleased with him – said:
Verily Shayṭān comes to your bed after your wife has made it and prepared it and throws a stick, a stone, or something [similar] on it to make the husband angry with his wife. So if someone finds this, let him not be angry with his wife, for it is the work of Shayṭān.
