CAREFULLY CHOOSING WORDS [IN DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES] WHEN ADDRESSING OTHERS – AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE FROM PROPHET IBRAAHEEM (ALAYHIS-SALAAM)
Allaah (The Most High) said:
When he said to his father: “O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything? “O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. [19:42-43]
Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah) said: Look at this speech that is attractive to the hearts. He [Ibraaheen (alayhis-salaam) did not say to his father, ‘’Indeed, you are a Jaahil (an ignorant person) lest his father is turned away due to rough speech, rather [Allaah said that Ibraaheem said]:
So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path. “O my father! Worship not Shaitan (Satan). Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allah). “O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan(Satan) (in the Hell-fire).” [19:43-45] [Ref 1]
A Benefit from Imaam Ash-Shanqeetee (rahimahullaah) regarding harshness and softness in their appropriate places; he said:
It is idiocy and an offence to (apply) harshness in a place where leniency is to be (applied), and it is weakness and spiritlessness to apply leniency in a place where harshness is to be applied. If it is said: Apply leniency, say: Leniency should be in its place, for the leniency of a young man in other than its place is ignorance.” [Ref 2]

The Opinion Of The Majority Is Not Consensus: Shaykh Salih Al Fawzan
The Opinion Of The Majority Is Not
Consensus: Shaykh Salih Al Fawzan
Q: Is the opinion of the majority (of scholars) deemed ijmaa (consensus)?
A: No, the majorities’ opinion is not considered as consensus, it is only deemed as the majorities’ opinion and that’s it. For this reason the four Imams (whenever they all agreed on a matter) it was not said about them they had consensus on the contrary it would be said that they agreed. The four imams had agreement in such and such an issue however it is not said a consensus (among all scholars). An agreement (among the four) is not a consensus (among all the scholars).

TEACHING THE PEOPLE MAGIC
TEACHING THE PEOPLE MAGIC
Teaching the People Magic by the Muhaddith, Shaykh, Allamaa’ Muhammad Nasiruddeen al-Albaani
Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya
Shaykh Albaani was asked the question: What is the interpretation of the noble Ayaah:
وَاتَّبَعُوا مَا تَتْلُو الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ
<< They followed what the Shayateen gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaiman. Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayateen disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels >> [Baqarah: 102]
The Shaykh answered:
‘There is no doubt that there is a difference of opinion amongst the scholars of Tafseer regarding this Ayaah. However, that which I personally find to be the strongest opinion is that its meaning is that Allaah – Azza wa Jal- sent down two Angels to teach the people magic, at a time when magic was hugely oppressive and had become widespread. Magic had become confused with the miracles of some of the Prophets. For example, in the story of Musa -Alayhi as-Salaam- and the magicians, Pharoah wanted to mislead the people, at the hands of magicians, away from Musa’s Dawa’ (call) to the truth.
What Pharoah manifested was magic. Then, as we know, Allaah -Azza wa Jal- cut off the actions of the magicians; they submitted and believed in The Lord of all that exists.
Therefore, their knowledge of magic after that point was a means to distinguish between invented matters, magic and reality.
So, in reality, when Musa -Alayhi as-Salaam- threw down his staff:
<< فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ >> << and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed>> [Al-Araaf: 117] this was something real which all the people believed. The magicians knew, due to their familiarity with magic that their practice of magic was astray and deceit, which had no basis in reality. So when they were unexpectedly confronted with the miracle of Musa -alayhi as-Salaam – the difference between reality and magic became apparent.
قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
<< They said: “We believe in the Lord of all that exists). >> [Al-Araaf: 121]
So the Wisdom of Allaah -Azza wa Jal – dictated, the sending of two Angels: Haroot and Maroot to teach the people magic. This was not to teach them magic for the sake of it, but so that they (the people) could then distinguish it from the magic used by many evil imposters and liars in those days to oppress the people, subjugate them and enslave them.
This is similar to what was mentioned in the story of the young man and the monk, perhaps you remember it. It is important to mention the summary of that here:
The king at that time – the king of the people of the ditch as mentioned in the Qur’aan[1] – used to employ a magician to enslave the people. When the magician felt that he was getting old, frail and elderly he said to the king, ‘Chose a young man from the people for me so that he can be a successor for you.’ Why did he say this? So that he could continue to enslave the people with this magic. This was how the kings in the past were, they would exploit the people by using magic. So Allaah -Azza wa Jal- sent two Angels to teach everyone magic – unlike the king’s magician, (the king of the people of the ditch) when he said to the king, ‘Chose a young man for me’, because it did not suit him to spread knowledge of magic amongst the people. This is because, in that case, the people would then have realised how the king had subjugated them with the use of magic.
Therefore, the Wisdom of Allaah -Azza wa Jal- dictated that He send two Angels to teach the people magic, in order for them to be able to distinguish between magic and miracles. Also, because magic undoubtedly leads to corruption, Allaah said, in the same context of the same story:
«وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُولا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلا تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ »
<< but neither of these two Angels taught anyone such things till they had said, “We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).” And from these Angels people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife >> [Baqarah: 102]
So they went to teach magic for a distinct purpose. However, this learning could turn into a tribulation when they learnt that which harmed them and did not benefit them such as that by which they cause separation between man and his wife. This is my opinion of the Tafseer of this Ayaah, and Allaah knows best.’

Speaking whilst doing wudhoo?

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen was asked about speaking whilst doing wudoo’: is it makrooh?
He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: Speaking whilst doing wudoo’ is not makrooh, but in fact it distracts the individual, because when the one who is doing wudoo’ washes his face, he should bear in mind that he is obeying the command of Allah, and when he washes his arms, wipes his head and washes his feet, he should bear this intention in mind. But if someone speaks to him, and he speaks to that person, this focus is disrupted and he may also get confused about his wudoo’, and he may be faced with waswaas as a result of that. So it is preferable for him not to speak until he has finished his wudoo’. But if he does speak, there is no blame on him for that.

Stick with your true brothers
Umar ibn al-Khattāb رضي الله عنه said:
“Stick with your true brothers. You can live in comfort with them, as they are a delight in times of ease, and you can lean on them in times of hardship. Assume the best about your brother until he comes with something that should alarm you from him. Avoid your enemy, and beware of befriending anyone but the trustworthy, and there is no trust for the one who doesn’t fear Allāh. Do not befriend the corrupt, as he will teach you his corruption, and do not reveal your secrets to him, and only consult those who fear Allāh, the Exalted.”

Carelessness of some Women concerning Travelling by Airplane without a Mahram
This justification is weak in reality, because the Mahram who accompanies her does not admit her onto the airplane, he only admits her to the departure lounge.
Even if all of these things did not happen, and the airplane landed at the correct time of arrival and the Mahram who was supposed to meet her was present, there might be some man sitting next to her on the airplane who does not fear Allah, the Most High and does not respect the worshippers of Allah, and he might be attracted to her and she to him, which might lead to Fitnah (temptation, trial) and unlawful deeds, as is well known.

The Ruling of Combining the Walīmah for Marriage with the Walīmah of the Aqīqah
*Question:* Some of the people do the Walīmah for marriage along with the Walīmah for the Aqīqah. Is this action correct or should each be done separately?
*Answer:* There is no harm in that. If one combines the two Walīmahs then there is no harm.

Abu Hanifah And Al-Irjaa: Shaykh Rabee Ibn Hadee
Q: Is it correct that which is attributed to Abu Hanifah that he was Murji’ee?
This article has been taken from maktabasalafiya. blogspot. com/2016/07/abu-hanifah-and-al-irjaa-shaykh-rabee.html
A: This is correct and no one denies this. Abu Hanifah fell into irjaa and no one denies it, neither Hanifi nor Sunni, no one denies this. Ahlus Sunnah sternly censured him due to this and for other reasons. Therefore it is not allowed for a Hanifi or anyone else to follow the mistakes any individual no matter who it may be. Not Abu Hanifah, not Malik, and not Shaafi’ee, however I do not know of errors in creed with theses individuals except Abu Hanifah, as he fell into saying the statement, “the Quran is created” but eventually repented from that as is firmly established (and or affirmed) by the scholars. However his (mistake with regards to) irjaa, him repenting from such was never affirmed, nor has anyone claimed such. No one from the Hanifis or other than them to the best of my knowledge.

His hair extended down to the bottom of his ears.
His eyes looked like two talking tongues.
He was of medium height.

An eloquent tongue.
He would read first in a quick and harsh manner, and end with a soft and elegant tone.

The Categories of Women who Approach their Husbands for Intimacy
Women, in most cases--if not all, except a few--approach their husbands as it relates to the affair of the bed (intimacy) and the reason, in my view, places them in one of three categories:
1. The First Group: She approaches her husband in the bed out of obedience to Allāh as an act of worship; seeking a reward from Him, Majestic be He, for pleasing her husband by fulfillment of his sexual desire, (helping him to) lower his gaze, and hoping for a righteous child.
2. The Second Category: She approaches her husband in the bed hoping for pleasure, and nothing else.
3. The Third Category: She approaches her husband in bed in order to prevent him from looking at other women purely out of jealousy.
No doubt the first has brought together (the benefit) and comprehended the affair.

From the Worst of Mankind
Translator: Abu 'Abdis Salaam Al Juyaanee
Source: “Sharhul Kitaabit Tawheed” pages 107-109
This Hadeeth is reported on the authority of Ibn Mas’ood (رضي الله عنه) reachingback to the Prophet ﷺ,
Verily from the worst of mankind are those whom the Hour will be established upon and they are alive, and those whom have taken the graves as places of worship (masaajid).
This is because the Hour will only be established upon the worst of creation. As far as the believers their souls will be taken by a pleasant wind prior to this (i.e. the establishment of the Hour).
Those who take the graves as places of worship are from the worst of mankind because they are a means and cause for the people falling into shirk (polytheism), innovation, and erroneous acts. This is because once the people view such a thing as correct they will naturally conclude and say, “Since they have built (a place of worship over this grave, the occupant of it) must then be supplicated to and called on in times of peril.
However, there is no problem if the grave is in close proximity to the cemetery. This is because the walkway in that case will separate between the two, and this is superior (to masaajid being on top of graves).
This is correct just as we have previously mentioned (when speaking about) extremism, that results in the one whom they are extreme about being taken as an object of worship instead of or along with Allah. Due to this the people exaggerated the status of some of the righteous. They thus, took them as objects of worship instead of or along with Allah. Examples of this are like the graves of Al Hassan (radiAllahu ‘anhu), Al Hussain (radi Allahu ‘anhu), Faatimah (radi Allahu ‘anha) and other than them. This nation has likewise exaggerated the status of the Messenger ﷺ and consequently fallen into (shirk by) worshipping him (by supplicating to him and the like) and seeking his aid in times of peril instead of or along with Allah; this (also happened) in the times of antiquity when the people of Nuh ﷺ exaggerated the status of the righteous until they eventually worshipped them (which is polytheism) as we have already mentioned.

Mentioning Allah While Using The Bathroom: Shaykh Salih Alish-Shaykh
This is hated, so it’s befitting for the Muslims to avoid it. Ibn Umar stated that a man passed by Allah’s Messenger -sallahu alayhi wa salaam- while he was urinating and conveyed the salaams, however the Messenger -sallahu alayhi wa salaam- did not respond. Question: Is it permissible for a woman who has been beaten by her husband to the point that she has been hospitalized to seek a Khul'ah?
Answer: Yes it is permissible for her to do so because this situation constitutes bad and harmful living conditions. She would give back the dowry and be released from the marriage by way of the Khul'ah. Rather, if she was in a place where there's an Islamic Judge, the judge would dissolve the marriage due to this abuse...

A Few Characteristics of the Haddādiyyah Sect
Author: Abu Dihyah Dawud Adib
It is important that we understand the following point very well: the Haddādiyyah Sect is extremely dangerous! We should always ask Allāh not to make us like them, to not cause us to emulate them while wearing the garments of Salafiyyah. For indeed, whoever imitates a people is from them!
Two of their characteristics are:
Fanatacism towards personalities, which is a common characteristic among the People of Blind Bigotry and Partisanship.
The Haddadi sect provides moral, intellectual, theological and logistic support to Dā'ish.
🔈 Abū Bakr bin Abī Dāwūd said in his Hā'iyyah:
----------------
Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān explains this line of poetry saying:
Thus, this is the methodology of the Khawārij, from which sprung other repugnant branches [of methodologies and principles]. Therefore, do not hold these beliefs nor incline towards them, instead consider them false opinions [principles and concepts]. Keeping in mind that this is referring to those who only hold these opinions [principles and concepts] yet they have not carried out these actions. So how much more those who also hold these corrupted beliefs and concepts and carry them out?
⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕
Shaykh Rabī described the Haddaadis, saying:
The Haddadis have an evil principle with them which is [the following]: Whenever they have attached to a [Salafi] individual that which he is in reality innocent of and [that Salafi has already] announced openly that he is indeed innocent of it - (i.e. what he is being falsely accused of) - they [the Haddādis] continue to hurl those accusations against that oppressed [Salafi] individual with that which they [the Haddadis] have [falsely] assigned to him.
Consequently, [by utilizing this technique] of their repugnant principle [they have concocted] they have exceeded the [methodology] of the Khawarij
********
In conclusion, we should check ourselves to see if any of these filthy principles have crept into our minds, hearts, or behaviors.
Oh Allāh! Do not make us like the people we warn against!
