Hadith about martydrom

The one who dies by burning is a martyr, because of the report narrated by Ahmad (23804), Abu Dawood (3111) and al-Nasaa’i (1846) from Jaabir ibn ‘Ateek (may Allah be pleased with him), according to which the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: What do you regard as martyrdom?” They said: Being killed for the sake of Allaah. The Messenger of Allaah (S) said: “Martyrdom is seven things besides being killed for the sake of Allaah. The one who dies of the plague is a martyr, the one who drowns is a martyr, the one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr, the one who dies of a stomach disease is a martyr, the one who is burned to death is a martyr, the one who dies beneath a collapsed building is a martyr, and the woman who dies in pregnancy is a martyr.”

From Extremism

From Extremism

by The Noble Shaikh, Saalih Al-Fawzaan

"...And indeed extremism could be in the matter of jurisprudence blind following (Taqleed Fiqhee) and blind following of sectarian parties (Taqleed Hizbee), and that is by bigotted adherence to the opinions of the Imaams, such that they (those opinions) are made as though they are revelation that was revealed (from Allaah). They (those opinions) are treated as though it is not permissible to abandon them for the correct and most probably right opinion according to the evidences. This is just as has occurred from the bigotted adherents to the Fiqh scholars, and also from the leaders of the sectarian groups today who riggedly adhere to their groups and their parties, and they warn against anyone else besides themselves, even if those besides them are upon the truth..."

From the causes of Fitan

From the causes of Fitan

بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

Allaah تعالى says: {And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muhammad's) commandment beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant) should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.} [Surah al-Noor (24): 63]

Ibn `Abbaas رضي الله عنهما said: “(It may be that) Stones are soon to descend upon you from the heavens! I say to you: ‘Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said...’ and you say to me: ‘Abu Bakr and Umar said!?’”

Imaam Ahmad رحمه الله said: “Do you know what the Fitnah is? The Fitnah is Shirk. May be the rejection of some of his words would cause one to have doubt and deviation in his heart and thereby be destroyed.”

[The quotes of Ibn `Abbaas and Imaam Ahmad have been taken from Kitaab al-Tawheed of Shaikh Muhammad Ibn `Abdul Wahhaab, Chapter #38]

Shaikh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “Fitnah (trials and tribulations, destruction in the land) does not occur except when the commandments of Allaah are neglected. For He تعالى has commanded us to adhere to the Haqq (truth) and commanded us with Sabr (patience). So fitnah occurs either when the truth is neglected or when patience is neglected.” [Al-Istiqaamah 1/39]

Ibn `Umar: "The Khawaarij behave like the Persians and the Romans"

Ibn `Umar: "The Khawaarij behave

like the Persians and the Romans"

بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

1. On the authority of Nafi` that `Abdullaah Ibn `Umar رضي الله عنهما said:

“`Uthmaan (Ibn `Affaan رضي الله عنه) consulted me when he was under siege, he said: ‘What is your opinion about what al-Mugheerah bin al-Akhnas* رضي الله عنه has said?’

I asked: ‘What did he say?’

`Uthmaan said: ‘He (al-Mugheerah) said: These people (i.e. the Khawaarij) want you give up this matter (i.e. the Khilaafah) and that you handover the matter to them.’

[In the narration of Ibn Sa`d it is that `Uthmaan said: ‘They want me to give up (the Khilaafah). And if I do, they will let me live and if I don’t they will kill me.’]

I said: ‘Do you see that by handing it over to them, will you live forever in this world?’

He said: ‘No!’

I said: ‘If you do not do this, can they do anything more than to kill you?’

He said: ‘No!’

I said: ‘Do they own the Paradise and the Hellfire?’

He said: ‘No!’

I said: ‘I do not see any reason for you to introduce this matter (of giving up the rulership) in the religion, so that whenever they (the people) are discontent with the ruler that they remove him. So do not give up the dress (i.e. the Khilaafah) which Allaah عز وجل dressed you with.’”

[Imaam Ahmad mentioned it in “Fadhaail al-Sahaabah” (No. 767, pg. 1/473) and Ibn Sa`d in Tabaqaat al-Kubraa (3/66)]

* al-Mugheerah bin al-Akhnas رضي الله عنه was a companion. His mother Khaalidah was the aunt of `Uthmaan رضي الله عنه. He resembled `Uthmaan رضي الله عنه in appearance and died defending him when the Khawaarij surrounded `Uthmaan’s house and attacked it. In Usud al-Ghaabah it is mentioned that when the Khawaarij burned down the door to `Uthmaan’s house, al-Mugheerah said to `Uthmaan: “By Allaah! Lest the people say that we have betrayed you”, then he picked up his sword and went charging against the Khawaarij.

2. Saalim reported from him father, `Abdullaah ibn `Umar رضي الله عنهما that he said:

“One of the people from al-Ansaar came to me during the Caliphate of `Uthmaan رضي الله عنه and spoke with me; and he wanted me to speak out against `Uthmaan, and he spoke for a long time. He was a man with a heavy tongue (i.e. he didn’t speak clearly) and it was difficult for me to understand him with ease.

So when he finished his talk, I said to him: ‘We used to say this when the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was still alive: ‘The most virtuous people from the Ummah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم after him were Abu Bakr, then `Umar, then `Uthmaan’, and by Allaah! We do not know that `Uthmaan has killed anyone unjustly (so that we can retaliate against him) nor did he commit any major sin. Rather it is this wealth (which you are after), if he gives it to you, you become pleased. And if he gives it to his near ones you become dissatisfied. Rather you want to behave like the Persians and the Romans, who do not find a ruler except that they kill him.’

Then the man’s eyes overflowed with tears and he said: ‘O Allaah! We do not want that.’ (i.e. he repented from speaking against `Uthmaan).”

[Abu Bakr bin al-Khallaal in his “al-Sunnah” (No. 546, pg. 1/386)]

The Ruling on Wearing Trousers

The Ruling on Wearing Trousers

It was asked to the Noble Shaykh, Allaamah Rabee ibn Haadee Al-Madkhalee, may Allah preserve him:
"You have warned, may Allah preserve you, against imitating the disbelievers and mentioned wearing trousers. Because of this, a lot of brothers have asked, is it Haraam?
He answered:
"Yes, the trousers which resemble the trousers of the disbelievers is Haraam ((Whoever imitates a people he is from them))[1] I have seen in some of the Arab countries that you see a woman which cannot be differentiated Christian from Muslim in the shamelessness of her dress code. And you see a Muslim, a Christian, a Jew and a Communist. You see one of them clean shaven his beard, head uncovered, wears a neck tie and he says to you 'I am a Muslim'!
And the woman dresses shamelessly possibly more than the Jews or Christians and you cannot recognize her (as a Muslimah) until it is said to you "this is a Muslim" and "this is a Muslimah"!
But as for her appearance and her dress it is not possible for you to recognize her (as a Muslimah), what do you say about this, Haraam or Halaal?
"Fataawa Fadheelatu Ash-Shaykh Rabee Al-Madkhalee, Vol.2, Page. 455"

__________________________________________________ ___________________
Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan,may Allaah preserve him, said:
It is not permissible to wear tight clothes which show the limbs and the shape of a woman’s body. Tight clothes are not permissible for men or women, but it is especially forbidden for women, because the fitnah in their case is greater.
Al-Muntaqa min Fataawa al-Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, 3/454
as Shaykh Albaani, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said:
(As) for Wearing pantaloon ( tight trousers) then we have spoken about it numerously, it is a foreign type of clothing. It is not permissible for a Muslim to wear it … ( rather ) wearing it in the prayer is more deserving to be rebuked due it showing the shape of the major a'wrah and the minor a'wrah, it shows the shape of the private parts and it shows the shape of the thighs. In reality those who are afflicted with the clothing pantaloon should bring to attention to themselves that is appropriate they be like the women , (by praying in the back
of the congregation prayer) The best of the rows of the Women is last of it.

Accompanying a disbeliever's Funeral

Following the funeral of a disbeliever

Accompanying a disbeliever's Funeral

Third question from Fatwa no. 2612

Q 3: What is the ruling on attending a disbeliever's Funeral as this is a political tradition and common custom?
(Part No. 9; Page No. 11)
A: Muslims are not allowed to bury the corpses of disbelievers as long as disbelievers can do so. Muslims are also not permitted to participate or help disbelievers in burying their dead in order to follow political traditions. This was not done by the Prophet (peace be upon him) nor by the rightly guided Caliphs. Allah forbade His Prophet (peace be upon him) to stand at the grave of `Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul, because he was a disbeliever. Allah (Exalted be He) says: And never (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave. Certainly they disbelieved in Allâh and His Messenger, and died while they were Fâsiqûn (rebellious, - disobedient to Allâh and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم). If there are no disbelievers who can bury their dead, Muslims should do so. This was done by the Prophet (peace be upon him) with regard to the disbelievers who were killed during the battle of Badr. When his uncle Abu Talib died, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to `Aly: "Go and bury him."
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.

Burying the Kafir (Disbeliever)

Burying the Kafir (Disbeliever)

(Part No. 9; Page No. 14)

Burying the Kafir (Disbeliever)

Fourth question from Fatwa no. 13477
Q 4: what is the ruling on those who embrace Islam while their parents are still polytheists who worship idols until they die? Is it permissible for their Muslim son to participate in washing and burying them? What is the ruling if the son participates in washing and burying them and other ceremonies of the non-Muslims? What should a Muslim son do after these acts?
A: As a general rule, when a Kafir dies, their relatives should hide their corpse in a hole so that people will not be harmed by them. Neither Janazah (Funeral) Prayer should be performed for them nor they should be washed or shrouded. Anyone who does differently or participates with the non-Muslims in their habits, should repent and ask for Allah's forgiveness. We hope that Allah will accept his repentance.
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.

Naseeha to muslims who are living in daar al Kufaar

Naseeha to muslims who are living in daar al Kufaar
A9ozg6wceaatmh4_large
The questions were read to him by sheikh Abu Abdil A’laa, though the questions were mainly around Hajj there was one question that was relevant and that the questioner asked saying I am an Algerian who has taken up residence in the UK and I married a European woman.  She had embraced Islam then after a period she apostate and has gone with my children and I am unable to get my children from her what is your advice?
The sheikh responded by saying this is a punishment and recompense to you from Allah for taking up residence in the lands of shirk! Then he mentioned advice to the questioner and all who have taken up residence in the lands of the kufaar for the purpose of obtaining the dunya is to return to their Muslim lands. For indeed the affair is very dangerous and we have seen may of their offsprings apostate from Islam. Those who migrate to those lands it is a must that apostacy will overcome them or some of their offsprings, and this is an affair that is known and observed .  So seek your sustenance from Allah For Allah Says: “Indeed Allah is The Sustainer, the possessor of great might” know that what Allah has written for you from provisions will never pass you. So we believe that Allah he is the provider and that what is written in the preserved tablet will not change, neither will our provisions pass us. And it is possible that one may live in the lands of the disbeliever poor and disgraced, doing menial labour such as toilet cleaning and the like! Indeed the Muslim is noble and honourable.
Allah says: “But Honor power and glory belong to Allah, His messenger and the believers, but the hypocrites know not” (Suratul Munaafiqqoon Vs 8)
Thus the believer should be noble, have richness in his heart and live in his own land the lands of Islaam, where he can nurture his children upon the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah – Sallallahu alaihi wa salam
He mentioned that we are truly sorry to hear about your children and that you should try what you can to get them back into your custody
Those were some brief note on yesterdays sitting and I will endeavour to summarise todays sitting tomorrow inshallah

Do you WorshipThe Creator?

 Do you WorshipThe Creator?
________________________________________________________________________
Have you heard of the story of Noah’s ark? Of course, everyone has heard the story
of the great flood; but do you know the sin of Noah’s people which caused the wrath
of The Creator to come upon the Earth?  In fact Noah’s people were guilty of
committing the gravest of sins.

Who is the Creator?

Most people would agree that this vast magnificent  universe did not happen by
chance.  Rather most believe that it was created, perfected and arranged by
SOMEONE who is All Wise, and All Knowing.  The Muslims and The Arab
Christians refer to Him by the name of  ALLAH, which when translated into the
English Language simply means,
“ THE GOD.”

ALLAH says, In Chapter 7 of  the Qu`ran verse 54, what can be translated as,
“Indeed your Lord is ALLAH, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six
Days, and then He rose over the Throne. He brings the night as a cover over
the day, seeking it rapidly, and He created the sun, the moon, and the stars,
(all) subjected to His Command.  Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment.  Blessed is Allah, the Lord of  the Worlds and all that exists!
ALLAH alone is The Creator of  the Universe, The Owner of  the Universe, The
One who arranges all of  the affairs of  the Universe.  He alone is the Lord of  the
Universe and everything which is in it.
WILL YOU NOT AGREE…..?

What is the right of  The Creator over His creation ?
Now that we have agreed that The Creator is One, and that He alone has the ability
to bring about benefit, or to prevent harm, and that He alone is the one who fashions
man in the womb, and He is the only provider for all of  the creation.  Then we must
agree that He alone deserves to be worshipped.
WOULDN’T YOU AGREE…?

ALLAH says in Chapter 2 verses 21, and 22 of  the Qu`ran
“O mankind!  Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who
were before you so that you may become pious.  Who has made the earth a
resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from
the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you.  Then do not
set up rivals unto ALLAH (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the
right to be worshipped).”

What is The Greatest Sin?

The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him  was asked, “What is the
greatest sin?”  He said,

“That you make rivals or partners with ALLAH, while He alone created you.”
Worship is a term which includes supplication, prayer, sacrifice and vowing and it is
the exclusive right of the Creator alone.  It is not permissible to direct any act of
worship towards the created things such as Angels,  Prophets (i.e. Jesus, Moses,
Muhammad etc.), saints, cows, idols, trees, the sun, the moon, the devil, or anything
else from that which was created.

ALLAH says in Chapter 7 verse 191

“Do they attribute as partners to Allah those who created nothing, but they
themselves are created?”

ALLAH says in Chapter 22 verse 73
“O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully):
Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even
though they combine together for the purpose.  And if the fly snatched away a thing from
them, they would have no power to release it from the fly.  So weak are (both) the seeker and
the sought.”

Creation worship or polytheism was the sin of  Noah’s people.  They began to
worship the righteous people who had passed away, this was done as a means of
getting closer to The Creator.

Who is more deserving of  our Worship The Creator or His Creation?
Now, we know that the greatest sin is to worship other with ALLAH; when ALLAH
alone is the One Who created and sent Messengers to convey the message,  “That
none has the right to be worshiped in truth except ALLAH.”  He is the ONE
Who created the Messengers, and their behavior as examples for all of  mankind to
follow.  It must be understood that it would be an  obvious contradiction for any
Messenger of  GOD to allow others, including themselves to be worshipped, when
ALLAH alone is The Creator Who created them (and everything else).
WILL YOU NOT AGREE…..?

ALLAH says in Chapter 72 verse 18,
“And the places of  worship are for ALLAH alone, so do not call upon anyone
other than Him.”

How do I know if  I’m worshipping Allah, or Not?
ALLAH, is not part of  a trinity.  He does not resemble His creation in any aspect.
ALLAH is not a man, spirit, or an Angel. ALLAH  is the sole creator of  the entire
universe and nothing is  similar to Him.

ALLAH says in Chapter 112
“Say: He is ALLAH the One.  The Self  Sufficient Master, whom all creatures
need (He neither eats nor drink), He begets not nor was He begotten.  And
there is none co-equal or comparable to Him.”

ALLAH says, in Chapter 2 verse 255
“ALLAH! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the
One Who sustains and protects all that exists.  Neither slumber, nor sleep
overtakes Him.  To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth.  Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission?
He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will
happen to them in the Hereafter.  And they will never encompass anything of
His Knowledge except that which He wills.  His footstool extends over the
heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving
them.  And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

ALLAH says in Chapter 39 verse 67,
“They made not a just estimate of  Allah such as is due to Him.  And on the
Day of  Resurrection the whole of  the earth will be grasped by His Hand and
the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand.  Glorified is He, and high is
He above all that they associate as partners with Him!”
