Question: Is not your verdict about it being obligatory to advise the ruler in seclusion contradicting the words of the prophet (sallâ Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam):
“The greatest Jihâd is to speak a word of truth before an unjust ruler.”?
Shaykh al-Fawzân: All praise is due to Allâh. He said:
